March 2009: Hi-Tech Concrete Coatings, Inc. is a member of USGBC, US Green Building Council. We are committed to doing our part in improving the quality of indoor environments by specifying and installing products that support methods of green building practice and assist our clients in earning LEED credits.

January 2009: Hi-Tech Concrete Coatings, Inc. completed a 38,000 square foot maintenance hangar, circa 1940, for the Federal Aviation Administration, Ronald Reagan National Airport, Washington DC. Surface preparation included removing multiple layers of coatings that had been applied over many years. Scarfiers and carbide-tipped scraping machines were used to remove the existing coatings. Damaged joints and uneven concrete from previous repairs were cleaned, filled, and smoothed with HTC Diamond Grinders. Installation products included slip-resistant, green build compliant Tennant Eco-HTS-100TM high protection urethane coatings in Light Gray and Medium Gray with additional grit for added traction.

2007: We used Sika FlowfreshTM Hygienic Polyurethane and Tennant Thick Coat Urethane with White colorant along with Tennant Eco HTSTM-100 White urethane to meet the challenge at Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe, Inc. makers of their famous potato rolls, in Chambersburg PA. They require heavy duty hygienic performance floors for durability and cleanliness in their bakery environment. Working in congested environments such as proofer rooms, palletizer, and mixer areas, we continue to provide service whenever they call on us. Additionally we installed durable, easy-to-clean floor systems for their Truck & Repair and Maintenance shops.

2006: Completion of the highly anticipated Dulles Jet Center Corporate hangars where we installed 160,000 square feet of Tennant products on four 40,000 square foot hangars. Hi-Tech Concrete Coatings, Inc. accepted a special invitation from the center's founder, Nathan Landow and his son Michael Landow to attend the celebration of their grand opening on December 4, 2006. The gala was held in one of the 40,000 square foot hangars transformed into a banquet hall. We are proud to say the most impressive feature was the beautifully installed Tennant floor system that shone like liquid and dazzled the eye providing a perfect setting to show off the Landow's special aircraft. The event featured guest speakers in the aeronautics industry such as General Jack Dailey, Director of the National Air and Space Museum along with CEO, Jim Bennett, President of Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. Mr. Bennett commented that in his years of walking on many hangar floors he has only seen one other that looked as clean and shone like this one.

2004: Working in conjunction with High Construction Company, Lancaster PA, we completed a project for Schott Pharmaceutical Packaging, Lebanon PA, installing 150,000 square feet of coatings using epoxy, urethane, and decorative quartz products specified for multiple areas including manufacturing, research labs, machine and tool room, locker rooms, restrooms, offices, and lunchroom. The RetroPlateTM Polishing System was applied in the warehouse.

2000: Corporate hangar floor installations developed as a special focus to attract such customers as Lockheed Martin Corporate Aircraft, Baltimore MD. We installed the Tennant Aviation Solution using Eco-Advantage® epoxy and urethane products on 46,000 square feet. Lockheed Martin's hangar floor's special needs, common to many hangars built at close proximity to sea level, required extensive moisture testing and moisture treatment products designed to protect coatings from moisture vapor transmission.
